I don’t remember how and I don’t remember when, but shortly after her wedding, I stumbled across Alicia’s blog.

At the time, I was struggling with guilt–guilt over spending money on our wedding when so many suffer every day with nothing. Alicia was recently married and was recapping the impact of her charity wedding.

Because of the efforts of her wedding, $6429.00 was given to various charities and endless awareness was spread.

Recently, she was acknowledged for her efforts by being named one of the Top 8 Best Bridal Blogs. Specially, she won the Best Bridal Blog With a Cause award. I couldn’t of a more fitting blog or a more deserving person to win this award!
