In exchange for the blog makeover I provided, Laura from Wine and Cheese, Please chose to donate to the nonprofit Doctors Without Borders. This only seemed fitting, given Laura’s background in the health care field.

Doctors Without Borders is an international medical humanitarian organization that provides independent, impartial aid to those in need…in nearly 60 countries. On any one day, more than 27,000 committed individuals can be found providing assistance to people caught in crises around the world. In 1999, Doctors Without Borders received the Nobel Peace Prize for their work (Read More). They have provided help, when help was scarce, to those in need since 1971. Recently, they have treated more than 173,757 patients and performed more than 11,748 surgeries to those affected by the earthquake in Haiti (Read More).

Doctors Without Borders can’t operate without support from people like you. They have a number of options available to those interested in donating.
